What kind of certifications do I need to join your Water Mitigation and Interior Restorations network?

For water mitigation, Accuserve requires an IICRC certified WRT technician to be on-site for every visit. An ASD certification is preferred and should be held by someone in your company. For mold remediation, an IICRC AMRT certification is required as well as any state or local required certifications. For services outside of water, the appropriate state or local mandated license or certifications are required.

Will I be working with Accuserve or the adjuster on a claim?

In most cases, communication will be with an Accuserve specialist. In certain instances, you may be instructed by Accuserve to contact the appropriate carrier representative. Our carrier partners depend on Accuserve to manage the claim process, so all communication — even if received from an adjuster — should immediately be shared with the Accuserve claims team so that we can appropriately support your efforts in completing timely and high-quality work.

What repair services is Accuserve looking for?

We are looking for contractors who specialize in one or multiple of the following areas:

  • Water mitigation and interior restorations, including fire & smoke mitigation, reconstruction, board-up/roof tarping, contents cleaning, contents pack out and tree removal
  • Window restorations

Accuserve has expanded its service offerings to our carrier partners to include a full home suite of solutions, including roofing and exterior, water mitigation, fire & smoke mitigation, reconstruction, board-up/roof tarping, contents cleaning, contents pack out and tree removal, and window restorations. Depending on your capabilities/certifications, you could be eligible for any or all of these.
